Rick Nealis, Marine Corps Marathon Race Director, receives the U.S. Armed Forces Sports Council Award, for serving as the MCM Race Director for the past 29 years in Arlington, Virginia, Oct. 30, 2022. Runners participated in the marathon not only to support the Marine Corps and their country, but to have the unique experience of running on an iconic course with the Marines after months of commitment and dedication to training for a lifetime goal.
