U.S. Marine Corps Lt. Gen. David A. Ottignon, commanding general, II Marine Expeditionary Force (II MEF) speaks with key leaders of II MEF during the topping out ceremony of the II MEF headquarters building on Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, Nov. 1, 2022. Construction of the new headquarters, located in the Wallace Creek area, began in January 2022 and is expected to be complete in June 2025.
