Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin III greets Soldiers assigned to the XVIII Airborne Corps and presented several Soldiers with his challenge coin thanking them for their hard work during their mission in Europe, Nov. 1. America’s Contingency Corps rapidly deployed in February 2022 with 300 personnel from the Corps headquarters element to provide a Joint Task Force-capable headquarters in Wiesbaden, Germany.
