CARTAGENA, Colombia - (Nov. 3, 2022) – Rear Adm. T.R. Buchanan, Commander, Submarine Group Ten, stands with naval submarine leaders of partner nation navies during the Colombian Navy Submarine Flotilla’s 50th Anniversary Celebration in Cartagena, Colombia, Nov. 3, 2022. Rear Adm. Buchanan joined naval leaders from Brazil, Chile, Ecuador, Germany, Peru, and other partner nations in the celebration. He also participated in an international symposium that addressed the importance of undersea forces in the Western Hemisphere. The U.S. Navy often participates in bilateral and multinational exercises with Colombia Navy submarines to enhance capabilities and improve interoperability.
