CARTAGENA, Colombia - (Nov. 3, 2022) – Rear Adm. T.R. Buchanan, Commander, Submarine Group Ten, participates in an international symposium during the Colombian Navy Submarine Flotilla’s 50th Anniversary Celebration in Cartagena, Colombia, Nov. 3, 2022. Rear Adm. Buchanan joined naval leaders from Brazil, Chile, Ecuador, Germany, Peru, and other partner nations in the celebration. The symposium addressed the importance of undersea forces in the Western Hemisphere. The U.S. Navy often participates in bilateral and multinational exercises with Colombia Navy submarines to enhance capabilities and improve interoperability.
