Army Maj. Ryan Goulet, Southern European Task Force, Africa (SETAF-AF) and a paratrooper from the 173rd Airborne Brigade near the finish of the 12-mile ruck march during Expert Infantry, Soldier and Field Medical badge (E3B) qualification on Caserma Del Din, Vicenza, Italy, Nov. 9, 2022. The E3B is a combined event that will test Soldiers' skills to achieve one of the three "expert" badges. This is the first E3B hosted in Vicenza, Italy, with qualifying Soldiers from SETAF-AF, 173rd Airborne Brigade, 207th Military Intelligence Brigade, 509th Strategic Signal Battalion, U.S. Special Operations Command Africa, units from U.S. Army Europe and Africa Command and service members from Spain, Croatia and Italy.
