Exercise Tartan Eagle Phase II - Fireteam Assault

U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Kaiden Thompson, a rifleman with 2nd Platoon, Alpha Company, Fleet Anti-terrorism Security Team, Marine Corps Security Force Regiment, returns from a live-fire fireteam assault exercise during Tartan Eagle phase II, Otterburn Training Camp, Europe, Oct. 27, 2022. The simulated fireteam assault gave Marines the opportunity to test communication and cohesion within their platoon in a countryside environment. Exercise Tartan Eagle is an annual bilateral training exercise for the U.S. Marines and British Royal Marines with 43 Commando Fleet Protection Group Royal Marines to travel to each other's training facilities to exchange tactics, techniques and procedures in fixed site security.
