    British Royal Marine Cpl. Elliot Richardson, a platoon weapons instructor class 2 with 43 Commando Fleet Protection Group Royal Marines (43 Cdo RM), debriefs Lance Cpl. Connor Werning, a machine gunner with 2nd Platoon, Alpha Company, Fleet Anti-terrorism Security Team, Marine Corps Security Force Regiment after a live-fire fireteam assault exercise during Tartan Eagle phase II, Otterburn Training Camp, Europe, Oct. 28, 2022. The simulated fireteam assault gave Marines the opportunity to test communication and cohesion within their platoon in a countryside environment. Exercise Tartan Eagle is an annual bilateral training exercise for the U.S. Marines and British Royal Marines with 43 Commando Fleet Protection Group Royal Marines to travel to each other's training facilities to exchange tactics, techniques and procedures in fixed site security.
