A training mission Dec. 13, 2022 takes an Air Station Traverse City MH-60 Jayhawk over the Mackinac Bridge, whose five-mile length spans the Straits of Mackinac and links Michigan's lower and upper peninsulas. The training mission helped keep aircrew members ready to provide search and rescue and other emergency services to mariners across all of lakes Superior and Michigan and a significant portion of Lake Huron.
