The hand of a simulated opposing-force individual lays on the ground during tier one of the Multi-Capable Airmen Expeditionary Skills Training at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Arizona, Dec. 9, 2022. MCA Class 22-11 brought Airmen from Davis-Monthan and Tyndall AFB, Florida, together to become proficient in demonstrating concepts such as rules of engagement with enemy forces, laws of self-defense and fire-team movement techniques. Trainees had the opportunity to practice the skills during several simulated scenarios where they either detained a hostile counterpart, used lethal force or provided medical care to friendly foreigners.
