Senior Airman Aram Talavera, 355th Operational Medical Readiness Squadron bioenvironmental engineering technician, imitates an injury after a simulated mortar attack during tier one of the Multi-Capable Airmen Expeditionary Skills Training at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Arizona, Dec. 9, 2022. The two-week course mentally and physically challenged Airmen and their ability to rapidly respond to different threats with minimal warning and indications. As part of their training, they were expected to assess frantic, injured personnel, treat them using tactical combat casualty care guidelines and transport them to a medical treatment site.
