PACIFIC OCEAN (Nov. 9, 2022) – Gunner’s Mate 3rd Class Tyler Milton, assigned to amphibious transport dock USS Anchorage (LPD 23), fires a line from an M14 to fleet replenishment oiler USNS Henry J. Kaiser (T-AO-187) during a replenishment-at-sea, Nov. 9, 2022. The Navy-Marine Corps team, capable of both rapid response and sustained operations globally, remains America's most persistent and versatile military instrument. The 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit is embarked with the Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group, comprised of amphibious assault ship USS Makin Island (LHD 8) and amphibious transport docks Anchorage and USS John P.
