Kittery, ME (December 22, 2022) - Significant progress is being made toward construction of Multi-Mission Dry Dock #1, which was originally constructed during World War II. The work being done here, with oversight of the Officer in Charge of Construction Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, will enable operations independent of the unique challenges presented by the Piscataqua River tides and will optimize dry dock operations for decades of safe and efficient use.
