SOUTH CHINA SEA (Jan. 4, 2023) - U.S. Marines with 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit and U.S. Navy corpsmen assigned to amphibious transport dock USS Anchorage (LPD 23) load an injured Marine into a UH-1Y Venom on the Anchorage, Jan. 4. The mobility and sustainability provided by amphibious platforms enable the Navy-Marine Corps team to extend the reach of our capabilities. 7th Fleet is the U.S. Navy's largest forward-deployed numbered fleet, and routinely interacts and operates with Allies and partners in preserving a free and open Indo-Pacific region.
