PACIFIC OCEAN (Nov. 11, 2022) – U.S. Navy Aviation Boatswains Mate Handler Airman Trion Hamilton with Air Department, USS John P. Murtha (LPD 26), signals U.S. Marine Corps Capt. Christopher Stebbins, a CH-53E Super Stallion aircraft commander and Capt. Mokoto Morita, a co-pilot, both with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 362 (Rein.), 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit, during preflight operations, Nov. 11. The mobility and sustainability provided by amphibious platforms enable the Navy-Marine Corps team to extend the reach of our capabilities. The 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit is embarked with the Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group, comprised of amphibious assault ship USS Makin Island (LHD 8) and amphibious transport docks USS Anchorage (LPD 23) and USS John P.
