Sgt. Maj. Reiko Aoyama, from the Public Affairs Office, Japan Ground Self-Defense Force 15th Brigade Headquarters, and Master Gunnery Sgt. Michael Stanly, the III Marine Expeditionary Force band master, introduce the III MEF Band and the JGSDF 15th Brigade Band during the 25th anniversary of the ‘Friendship Through Music’ concert Jan. 28 at the Ginowan Civic Hall in Okinawa, Japan, Jan. 28, 2023. This year's iteration of the concert series was the first full, unrestricted performance since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. The concert series is a joint performance between the JGSDF 15th Brigade Band and the III MEF Band.
