U.S. Marines with Marine Air Control Squadron 24, Marine Air Control Group 48, 4th Marine Aircraft Wing, Marine Forces Reserve, execute a high-frequency communications training event on Camp Elmore, Virginia, Feb. 3, 2023. The Marines with MACs-24 conducted the training event to validate training readiness and refine the subordinate elements’ communication control. Under implemented concepts of Force Design 2030, honing subordinate elements such as MACs-24 are pertinent in order to create a skilled and lethal expeditionary fighting force that is capable of augmenting the active component with support personnel.
