Maj Patrickson Toussaint, the top senior enlisted advisor for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, presents a command coin to Michael Ritchey, equipment mechanic for the Pittsburgh District, at the Monongahela River Locks and Dam 4 in Charleroi, Pennsylvania, Jan. 30, 2023. Military leaders present customized coins to civilian and military service members to show appreciation for a job well done worthy of recognition. Toussaint spent several days speaking to employees across the district to gain a better perspective of their responsibilities and roles in supporting the corps’ mission in the greater Pittsburgh region.
