U.S. Army Spc. Passeba Kabore, assigned to the 24th Financial Management Support Unit, recieves a challenge coin from Command Sgt. Maj. Jeffrey Campbell, the senior Noncommissioned Officer of the 3rd Division Sustainment Brigade, after winning the Soldier of the Quarter Board on Fort Stewart, Georgia, Feb. 10, 2023. The Soldier and NCO of the Quarter Board, chaired by the brigade command sergeant major with the unit’s senior-most NCOs as voting members, tested the Soldiers’ military knowledge, customs and courtesies, and composure under pressure. Competition events are a test of grit and toughness, foster readiness and esprit de corps, and are a fundamental part of the brigade’s strategy to build lethal, cohesive teams with expert leaders.
