U.S. Soldiers from the 720th Ordnance Company (Explosives Ordnance Disposal), train soldiers from the Kenyan Defence Forces on the proper use of ground search metal detectors during counter-improvised explosive device training, in Isiolo, Kenya, Feb. 13, 2023, as part of Justified Accord 2023. Led by the U.S. Army Southern European Task Force, Africa (SETAF-AF), JA23 brings together U.S. Forces, Kenya Defence Forces, and partners to build readiness, prepare regional partners for United Nations and African Union mandated missions, and increase multinational interoperability.
