U.S. Army Spc. Cesar Hernandez, a preventive medicine specialist assigned to Madigan Army Medical Center, holds his company guidon at the start of the Norwegian Foot March on Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash., Feb. 10, 2023. The event was an 18.6-mile foot march with a 25-lbs. ruck completed while wearing the Army Combat Uniform. Participants sought to successfully complete the march in a designated amount of time depending on age and gender.
