Soldiers from the Kenyan Defence Forces, Ugandan Army, and U.S. Army conducted a partnership run in Isiolo, Kenya, Feb. 18 2023, during Justified Accord 2023. Led by the KDF, partners ran over 5 miles stopping intermittently to do push-ups and core exercises. Events like this build partnership and camaraderie between partner forces and further cement the relationships between forces. Justified Accord is U.S. Africa Command’s largest exercise in East Africa. Led by U.S. Army Southern European Task Force, Africa (SETAF-AF), this multinational exercise brings together more than 20 countries from four continents to increase partner readiness for peacekeeping missions, crisis response, and humanitarian assistance.
