U.S. and Philippine forces work together Oct. 14 to build a septic tank at Tagburos Elementary School during a bilateral engineering civic affairs project as part of the bilateral Amphibious Landing Exercise (PHIBLEX) 2013. PHIBLEX is a bilateral training exercise hosted annually in the Republic of the Philippines to enhance interoperability and readiness of Armed Forces of the Philippines and U.S. Forces. In addition to installing a septic tank together, service members from the Philippines and the U.S. will provide medical and dental care here at the school. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Pfc. Anne K.
