Local Barangay residents wait to receive medical care Oct. 14 at Tagburos Elementary School during a bilateral medical and dental civil affairs project as part of the bilateral Amphibious Landing Exercise (PHIBLEX) 2013. PHIBLEX is a bilateral training exercise hosted annually in the Republic of the Philippines to enhance interoperability and readiness of Armed Forces of the Philippines and U.S. Forces. Service members from the Philippines and the U.S. will spend the duration of PHIBLEX installing a septic tank together here at the school as well as providing medical and dental care.
