The amphibious dock landing ship USS Tortuga (LSD 46) is underway in Subic Bay after completing Amphibious Landing Exercise (PHIBLEX). PHIBLEX is an annual bilateral exercise designed to improve interoperability, increase readiness and develop professional and personal relationships between U.S. forces and the Armed Forces of the Philippines.
