The medical module was designed for a Royal Canadian Air Force C-130J and it provides hospital-grade care to seriously ill or highly-contagious patients while in flight. The RCAF will use this technology to execute urgent medical transports within Canada and internationally. The 502nd LRS is the largest logistics readiness squadron in the Air Force, providing logistics support to 82,000 personnel at the largest joint base in the Defense Department Defense Department, spanning 88 square miles.
