502nd Logistic Readiness Squadron members and Defense Department contractors work together to load a medical module onto a Royal Canadian Air Force C-130J at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas, March 8, 2023. The medical module provides hospital-grade care to seriously ill or highly-contagious patients while in flight. The RCAF will use this technology to execute urgent medical transports within Canada and internationally. The 502nd LRS is the largest logistics readiness squadron in the Air Force, providing logistics support to 82,000 personnel at the largest joint base in the Defense Department, spanning 88 square miles.
