Brandon Watts, a mobile facility technician with Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron 39, Marine Aircraft Group 39, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing (MAW), guides aviation support equipment as it is raised onto the Military Sealift Command Wright-class aviation logistics support ship SS Curtiss (T-AVB 4) on Naval Base San Diego, California, March 13, 2023. The Curtiss will function as an aviation logistics and sustainment platform to support aviation combat elements, demonstrate and validate expeditionary advanced basing operations and experiment with T-AVB capabilities during Exercise Immortal Warrior.
