A member of an explosive ordnance disposal team assigned to Route Clearance Patrol-29, Alpha Company, 4th Brigade Special Troops Battalion, 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, inspects a pipe on a route in the mountains of Paktika province, Oct. 9, 2012.
