    Components of a lightweight, durable, and expeditionary freeze-dried canine blood plasma kit currently under development by the U.S. Army Medical Materiel Development Activity (USAMMDA), Fort Detrick, Md., Jan. 19, 2023. The USAMMDA Warfighter Protection and Acute Care (WPAC) Project Management Office team is currently developing the kit for possible future use by veterinarians in the joint forces to treat wounded and injured Military Working Dogs (MWD).
