The Point Mugu Air Show returned to Naval Base Ventura County (NBVC), Point Mugu in California for the first time since 2015, resulting in a massive line of attendees who waited to get through base security on March 18. According to NBVC Public Affairs Office, 205,000 spectators descended upon the base over the weekend. With the crowds also came substantial traffic jams on surrounding roadways — including Pacific Coast Highway — where many people gave up on the wait and simply parked along the shoulder and watched the show from their cars.
