Soldiers with the West Virginia Army National Guard and members of the CERFP team, or Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, Explosive Enhanced Response Force Package, responded to a call from the Davis Volunteer Fire Department. The metal beams bracing the walls together faltered under the weight of the heavy snow and crushed the paneling two inches. If the snow was not removed, it's highly likely that the roof would have collapsed.
