Dr. Lauren Santini, a Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) Scientific Recovery Expert (SRE) and Forensic Archaeologist, draws a map of a perspective area of an unopened site during a DPAA recovery mission in Laos People’s Democratic Republic (Laos PDR), March 4, 2023.
