(April 11, 2023) Sailors assigned to Maritime Expeditionary Security Squadron (MSRON) 11 conduct a maritime escort mission exercise with USCG Port Security Unit 311 as part of Adaptive Force Exercise (AFOX) in Long Beach harbor. AFOX is an advance phase continuous training events focused on Navy Expeditionary Combat Force (NECF) integration/interoperability and advance skills for deployment. MESF is a core Navy capability that provides port and harbor security, high value asset security, and maritime security in the coastal and inland waterways.
