Dr. Traci Van Deest, an anthropologist with the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA), takes notes during a conference conducted with the service casualty and mortuary affairs officers of the Department of Defense at Offutt Air Base, Neb., Apr. 11, 2023.
