Members assigned to the 56th Civil Engineer Squadron Explosive Ordnance Disposal flight count how many steps it takes to complete 50 meters on a pace course at Camp Navajo, Arizona, April 11, 2023. Members assigned to the 56th CES EOD flight participated in exercise Furious Alpaca; a three-day exercise with the strategic objective of conducting operations in degraded environments alongside foreign forces against a near peer threat. The second day consisted of day and night land navigation courses where members were required to trek through a snow-covered pine forest to reach their destinations.
