ATLANTIC OCEAN (April 16, 2023) Boatswain’s Mate 2nd Class Autumn Kinney (right), a native of Union City, Pa., and Boatswain’s Mate Seaman Sabastian Risher, a native of Tampa, Fla., discuss line handling fundamentals in preparation for well deck operations aboard the Wasp-class amphibious assault ship USS Bataan (LHD 5), April 16, 2023. Bataan, along with the San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock ship USS Mesa Verde (LPD 19) and the Harpers Ferry-class dock landing ship USS Carter Hall (LSD 50), is participating in the Bataan Amphibious Ready Group and 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit exercise (ARGMEUEX).
