Sgt. Hendrik Boese assigned to Detachment 1, 1158th Transportation Company, has his uniform inspected by Sgt. 1st Class Brian Vaughn from the Wisconsin Army National Guard’s Medical Readiness Detachment, while they wait for the board interview event of the Wisconsin Army National Guard’s Best Warrior Competition at the Wisconsin Military Academy at Fort McCoy, Wis., Apr. 21. The Best Warrior Competition is designed to recognize and reward Soldiers who demonstrate exceptional skills, leadership, and dedication through a variety of grueling tasks including a 12-mile road march, weapons qualifications, land navigation, and the Army Combat Fitness Test.
