The afternoon of the Nebraska State Best Warrior Competition 2019 saw the competitors using their weapons to strive at proficiency in the M9 Patton and M16 Pershing competitions at the Greenlief Training Site near Hastings, Nebraska on April 12, 2019. This was followed by a Stress Shoot, where the participants pushed through smoke, distractive machine gun fire and CS gas while firing at multiple targets with their rifles and pistols. The Best Warrior Competition brings together enlisted Soldiers of the Nebraska Army National Guard and Czech Republic to compete in a number of challenges over three days to include individual weapons qualification, an obstacle course, the Army Physical Fitness Test and land navigation.
