VIRGINIA BEACH, Virginia (11 May 2023) Sailors assigned to Maritime Expeditionary Security Squadron TWO’s (MSRON TWO) Medical department provide hands on IV training to Alpha and Bravo Security Boat Company (SBS) Sailors as part of the Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) Tier2 (Combat Lifesaver) training and certifications onboard Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek-Fort Story. Combat Lifesavers are medical force multipliers in the absence of a Corpsman, able to identify and treat traumatic injuries using more advanced techniques with limited resources.
