Skelly, Assistant Secretary of Defense for Readiness, to members of the 673d Civil Engineer Group during a visit to JBER, Alaska, May 16, 2023. In her role as the ASD for Readiness, Skelly develops policies and plans, provides advice, and makes recommendations for total-force readiness programs, reporting and assessments of readiness to execute the national defense strategy.
