A soldier from 1st Battalion, 69th Infantry Regiment, Demon (Delta) Company provides physical security at the Port of Djibouti in anticipation for USNS Alan Shepard to arrive, April 12. CLDJ is an operational installation that enables U.S., allied, and partner nation forces to be where and when they are needed to ensure security in Europe, Africa and Southwest Asia.
