NAVAL STATION MAYPORT, Fla. – (May 19, 2023) – Mr. Lowell Mcclintock (left), assigned to U.S. Naval Forces Southern Command/U.S. 4th Fleet (USNAVSOUTH/FOURTHFLT) assumes the duties of Director of International Engagements for the Inter-American Naval Telecommunications Network (IANTN) Secretariat, at Naval Station Mayport, Fla., May 19, 2023. Mcclintock is the first person to assume the title of Director of International Engagements at IANTN since its inception in 1962. IANTN’s mission is to maintain a permanent link among naval authorities of the Americas. USNAVSOUTH/FOURTHFLT hosts the multi-national IANTN staff, which oversees IANTN detachments and operations centers in 18 partner nations in the Caribbean, Central and South America. USNAVSOUTH/FOURTHFLT is the trusted maritime partner for Caribbean, Central and South America maritime forces leading to improved unity, security and stability.
