U.S. Navy Sailors compete in the 500-yard timed swim event of the Naval Special Warfare (NSW) physical screening test May 19 at Naval Support Activity Naples, Italy. The PST was proctored by members of Naval Special Warfare Assessment Command based in San Diego, Calif. NSWAC is the assessment and outreach component of Naval Special Warfare Center – the home of Navy SEAL and SWCC training. NSW is the nation’s elite maritime special operations force, uniquely positioned to extend the Fleet’s reach and gain and maintain access for the Joint Force in competition and conflict.
