U.S. Navy Sailors compete in the 1.5-mile timed run event of the Naval Special Warfare (NSW) physical screening test May 17 at Naval Support Activity Naples, Italy. The PST was proctored by members of Naval Special Warfare Assessment Command (NSWAC) based in San Diego, Calif. NSWAC is the assessment and outreach component of Naval Special Warfare Center currently traveling overseas to fleet concentration areas. NSW is the nation's elite maritime special operations force, uniquely positioned to extend the Fleet's reach and gain and maintain access for the Joint Force in competition and conflict.
