Construction Battalion Maintenance Unit 303, Detachment Bangor's color guard presents the colors during a Veterans Day service in honor of Medal of Honor recipient, CM3 Marvin G. Shields. Every Veterans Day, the Seabee Veterans of America host an honor ceremony at Shields' final resting place in Gardiner, Wash. Shields is the only Seabee Medal of Honor recipient to date.
