The 82nd Airborne Division Deputy Commanding General for Operations, Gen. Charles Flynn presents Reyna Torres, the Purple Heart Medal and the Air Medal with Valor device in honor of her son, Chief Warrant Officer 2 Jose L. Montenegro Jr., at the 82nd Combat Aviation Brigade Headquarters, Nov. 14. Montenegro, an OH-58D Kiowa Warrior pilot with the 82nd Combat Aviation Brigade, was killed when his aircraft went down in Logar province, Afghanistan, Sep. 5.
