Pre-Commissioning Unit Carl M Levin (DDG 120) arrived at Naval Station Newport earlier today after departing General Dynamics Bath Iron Works and following delivery to the U.S. Navy. Like USS Daniel Inouye (DDG 118) which visited the installation in Oct. 2021 prior to its commissioning, the future USS Carl M Levin will be assigned to Commander, Destroyer Squadron 31 at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam in Hawaii. The commissioning of the Carl M. Levin is scheduled to take place on June 24 in Baltimore.
