    U.S. Army Sgt. 1st Class Anna Dietrich, an HH-60M flight paramedic and noncommissioned officer in charge (NCOIC) of the the 1-111th Aviation Regiment, 78th Aviation Troop Command, Georgia Army National Guard, conducts a interview highlighting the duties and responsibilities of a MEDEVAC paramedic during Exercise African Lion 23, on Inezgane Airfield, June 9, 2023 . The 1-111th is currently participating in Exercise African Lion 23 and providing aviation and MEDEVAC support necessary to ensure the safety and well being of all participants. Eighteen nations and approximately 8,000 personnel will participate in African Lion 2023, U.S. Africa Command's largest annual combined, joint exercise that will take place in Ghana, Morocco, Senegal and Tunisia from May 13-June 18, 2023.
