230428-N-TH560-1040 WASHINGTON (April 28, 2023) Master Chief Gunner’s Mate Jessica Harrison, from Twin Falls, Idaho, is pinned to the rank of Master Chief Petty Officer by her sons and Master Chief Information Systems Technician Charles Harrison during a ceremony inside the Delbert D. Black National Chief’s Mess at the U.S. Navy Memorial, April 28, 2023.
“At the end of the day, if you're in tune with what your ‘why’ is, the ‘how’ doesn't matter; you will overcome it,” Harrison said. “My ‘why’ is my boys, Trey and Logan.”
